Ever wonder what ERC is and how it may affect you as a CAP Services employee? Here's your answer:
The ERC is composed of a staff member from each CAP site. The committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss concerns, needs and suggestions from employees. Our purpose is to ensure that employees have a say in decisions being made that affect each and every one of us. The ERC also accepts Employee Emergency Grant applications.
Mission:
To assist fellow employees in time of crisis or unfortunate
circumstance by providing income continuation
or payment of CAP health insurance premium.
This
fund will supplement co-workers’ personal time when, due to a
prolonged absence from work, they have depleted their own personal
and vacation hours. The personal leave
supplement will
allow a needy employee to receive a full or portion of a paycheck
(subject to availability of emergency funds and ERC review of the
request). Employee donations of vacation time will be converted into
personal time, making it available to needy employees. The number of
hours received will be based on the recipient’s current rate of pay.
All applicable taxes will be subtracted.
Or, the employee may request assistance to cover CAP health
insurance premiums
